I guess it’s time again for a random portrait to serve as a concert announcement.
But I’m on my way to Heidelberg and really looking forward to singing the Mozart Requiem tonight.

At the very beginning of my studies, the Mozart Requiem was the first piece I ever worked on with an orchestra in a repertoire class. And now I finally get to sing it again — with wonderful colleagues, in this beautiful church.

Two weeks in Paris — gone in a flash.
I fell for this city even more than I expected. Maybe that’s the best reason to keep learning French — to understand not just the words, but the feeling behind them.

For me, it was art and wine, croissants and conversation, walking, listening, watching.
For others, it’s a different story — not always easy. I can go home after two weeks of la vie est belle, but many can’t. Seeing that makes the beauty feel more fragile, and somehow more real.

Maybe one day I’ll come back, stay longer, understand it a little better.

Rêver doit être permis.

My first concert at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg was part of the ARD Woche der Musik – Das Brahms & Strauß-Experiment. I had the privilege of working on this project for over a year, and this concert marked the beginning of bringing this educational project to life. With a fully booked Great Hall and the sound of children and adults laughing together, accompanied by an amazing orchestra and, of course, the legendary Sesamstraße puppets, it was a unique experience.

There will be live events all over the country from January 18–26, 2025, along with various opportunities to participate online, including live streams, learning videos, or concerts on demand.

Coming back six weeks after leaving the city made me realize how much I actually enjoyed living there.
After noticing that my “minimalistic” life wasn’t as minimalistic as I thought, I decided to move to Hamburg by train—this time, the move really had to be mini.

I actually cried when leaving Zurich in December, which hasn’t happened with my last few city changes. Coming back for an audition and leaving on the same day six weeks later, I felt a similar gut pull, but also just as much excitement about heading back north. Maybe this is the balance I need. 🎢🤓
